This amount covers a significant part of the purchase value of a new instrument, providing a ground for negotiation with interested parties to cofinance the instrument. The hope is to secure the necessary funding in time to enable installation for the inauguration of the new 2MILab laboratory facilities in the Chemistry building at KTH. The application was a collaboration between Dr. Ute Capell based at the Chemistry Department of the CBH school, 2MILab with the support of several leading sustainability researchers at KTH. Dr. Capell is a recognized authority on the use of XPS in solar cell research.
